Great lake fun for all if it's not boating the town it's sled is great good food

This was my first visit .Congenial receptionist, very helpful. Camping area next to lake. Idyllic in morning with mist rising and sun shining through. Toilet facilities and camp kitchens dotted throughout the area making for easy access. Will be making more visits ,but not on public holidays or xmas as it would be packed out
Not happy at all with how this park is managed. You pay top dollar for a patch of grass and a basic toilet/shower block. Its a large park with multiple toilet/shower blocks that are locked? As a camper you only have access to a couple (so don't walk around the park without going to the toilet first or you could get caught out!). They have a TV room with lounge chairs but you can only look into the room through the windows, its locked too! But wait they have a games room! Which is open! But you have to leave a $50 deposit if you want to use the air-conditioner and another $50 deposit if you want to watch the TV! They did put on a lovely little train ride for the kids on Saturday night, but you were charged for that too. And don't leave the park a minute after 10am or you'll be charged a late exit fee. When I booked the site several months ago, I had to pay the full amount up front to secure my booking and it wasn't even peak season. It took multiple phone calls and emails just to sort a simple booking! This park is unbelievable. The only positive aspect of our stay was the lovely location. Fortunately we took the time to explore the area and found a number of great free camps in the area with basic facilities. So we know where we will, and won't be staying next time we are visiting the area. I'd give this park a big miss!!
